My App

This page is all about my app. On my app you can see my twitter, Youtube page, and Twitter all in one little place. I will post the work I have done so far as well as all the updates to the app. There will also be a section of “features coming soon.” I hope you like my app! If you are reading this from your iPhone or iPod Touch, you can type in iminichrispy:// into your Safari address bar to open my app. Note: You must have the latest version (As of 12/18/09, Version 1.2) of my app installed.

Now Available in Cydia!

My app was added on Cydia on 10/26/2009 to the BigBoss source. The BigBoss source comes with Cydia so you should already have the source entered. Just go to the search tab and search, “iMinichrispy Mobile.” My app will show up and you’ll be able to download it. Please email me if you have any suggestions: alex@iminichrispy.com.

This will be what you first see when you open the app. There is a contact link in the top-right that will take you to the mail app and you can send me an email. Here are some pictures:

Website

This page will show my website in mobile form. I will be getting a new plugin for wordpress when I get a wordpress website and you will be able to see my site and blog in an iPhone-friendly interface! This will be easy for you to stay up-to-date with Apple, iPhone, iPod Touch, and other tech news.

YouTube

This is where you can see if I uploaded a new video to my YouTube channel as well as watch my older videos. It, too, will have an iPhone-friendly interface easy for browsing my videos.

Twitter

The last page is the Twitter page that will show you my latest tweets from my Twitter account. The links will take you to the location of the link, but it will stay inside my app! Safari will not open, because I know this can get annoying.

Beta-testing

If you are interested in beta testing, you will have to wait until I have the feature available. Just subscribe to my site’s blog and you will recieve email notifications of when the feature is available.

Know Bugs

I have notice 3 so far (all are due to problems concerning the home page and landscape mode):

If you are on the home page and you turn the device to change the orientation and then you switch to the Website, Twitter, or YoTube page (mobile sites), sometimes the sites will remain in portrait mode, and will not spread out into landscape mode: I SOLVED THIS PROBLEM!!!

The last bug I noticed so far is that when you turn the device while on the home screen, everything just goes all over the place:
